With over 40 years of magical performing experience, John has brought his classical style of magic to audiences all over the country and earned the respect clients and magicians. He is a regular performer at regional magic venues, often performing in Chicago, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. Many know John best as the creator and feature performer at The Kentucky Magic Dinner Theater through its 10-year run. Others may know him as the creator of The RJ Corman Magic Dinner Train. Multimedia: Videos, MP3s, etc. News & Reviews Routines Stage Shows: John Shore provides unique magical stage performances for audiences of 10 to 300. Each show features a friendly blend of classical and original magic. John is a master storyteller who brings a sense of history, fun and mystery to each performance. John is often called upon for Christmas parties, sales meetings, fund raisers, and wedding rehearsal dinners. Themed Magic Experiences: Working with tour companies and corporate clients, John has developed two special offerings that build on the quintessentially Kentucky themes of Kentucky Bourbon and Kentucky Wine. These two shows combine the appeal of magic with the local flair of bourbon or wine. In a Taste of Magic and Bourbon, John features his traditional brand of magic combined with history and insider information about Kentucky Bourbon. Three bottles are featured at each performance and tasting is built into the show. In Magic on the Vine, John presents a magic themed wide tasting, that features local wines with stories about the people who make them. Both of these shows are intended for audiences of 10 to 50 people and can be set up in any banquet hall. Local liquor regulations and age restrictions apply. Strolling Magic: Strolling Magic entertainment is the perfect magical touch for formal and casual event. This is often used cocktail parties, company receptions, hospitality rooms, wedding receptions, high school and college parties. Close-up shows: For small audience, a close-up magic show can be a very fun choice. Sleight of hand with coins and cards is lots of fun, very entertaining, and a rare treat these days. John presents a fully developed close-up show that can be performed for groups of 10 or less. This show features rarely seen sleight of hand classics as well as highly original material. This show is great as an after-dinner entertainment when a large show would be out of place, but you want to really make an impression with your guests. Palm Reading: If you have never had your palm read, now is the time. This is a powerful experience that your guests will remember for the rest of their life. John’s approach to palm reading is equally approachable to the believer and the skeptic. Readings are provided in a serious way with an eye to being entertaining and positive. Readings are usually conducted 2 at a time and take about 5 minutes each, so we keep the line moving and your guests happy. This service works well at large parties, carnival fund raisers, wedding receptions, and proms.
