"Music is my passion. I have dedicated over 20 years to music performance. I enjoy making people smile and have a good time through song.”

Music History and Background:
Piano: I am a self taught pianist that has played professionally for over 15 years with over a 500 song repertoire.
Vocalist: I won statewide acclaim “OCTA” and ”ACT” , Orchid awards for my acting and singing performance with the Loveland Stage Company as the Major General in “The “Pirates of Penzance”. I do all styles of music – Broadway, Rock, Jazz & Country, The Blues /anything Billy Joel and Elton John, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis etc….
Trumpet: I was classically trained (1st Trumpet in All-City Youth Orchestra). In my teens, I was booked by Dick Clark and toured nationally with well known Rock groups in the early 70’s.
Guitar: I played guitar before piano and love the instrument because it allows me to travel into the audience and sing to them directly and it also makes it more fun for them to sing back – INTERACT
CD’s Denny D’s Music Menagerie” / a culmination of my various styles are all original compositions, and orchestrations performed by me.
Also: “The Rebels are Coming”Based on the Pulitzer Prize Nominee (History), "The Longest Raid", written by Lester Horwitz, I composed the lyrics, music, recorded and performed in the CD version of the Musical, The World Premier was May 2005 for the "Glendale Sesquicentennial".
