He's a 1982 graduate of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. His clowning early-on had good influences from workshops and experiences at the International Mime Festival in Elkins, WV, Antic Arts at Celebration Barn in Paris, ME, the International Clown Congress in Philadelphia, PA, balloon studies with Marvin Hardy at Laugh Makers in Ithaca, NY, acting studies, community theater, and improvisational comedy (a founding member of the Merry Muckers of Mirth at Comedy on Broadway in Lexington, KY). Cambo's clowning combines, juggling, clown magic, a bit of music, balloon animals and a whole lot of nonsense for shows and walk-around. He has entertained at innumerable birthday parties, and has done shows for public libraries across Kentucky, elementary schools and all kinds of events, including many celebrated visits to Kentucky Children's Hospital.
